Home Learning Tasks
Hello! We hope you had a lovely half term and managed to enjoy some of the lovely sunshine. Mrs Crowther and Mrs Smith have been busy back at school this week; Mrs Smith and Miss Lane have done a great job on organising the Forest School container too. We love seeing your photos and efforts on the Class Dojo; please continue to upload photos onto your Class Dojo for Mrs Crowther to take a look.
Below are some ideas you could try at home. Please follow up to date guidelines regarding Health and Safety when completing any of the activities.
Butterfly Watch: Can you spot butterflies in your garden? Make a note of what the butterfly looked like and use the Internet, books, to find out the specie
Use www.animatedknots.com to practise some knots
Helping Hands: Can you help out at home by doing some weeding or tidying up an area of the garden? Remember to ask permission first!
Dig, Dig, Dig:
Ask permission first!
Dig in the earth and find as many different minibeasts as you can. Identify the different species and watch how they move.
What changes can you see in the environment now we are entering Summer? What is happening to the nature around you?
We like to have a campfire at Forest School. Can you research how we can keep safe around the campfire? Can you create some rules for the campfire?
